The purpose of this Project is to upgrade the Birchview Dunes Elementary School Fire Pump (fuel/exhaust systems) and the Nottawa Elementary School Fire Pump (fuel/exhaust systems) to current TSSA Standards. The Owner identifies that RFQ #11966Q awards the winning Bidder both locations identified above, but that the two locations will be completed and Invoiced as two separate projects. Birchview Dunes Elementary School #11966Q and Nottawa Elementary School #12072Q. The Owner requires that all Bidders agree to obtain an independent (third party) OBT1 with min. 5 years of experience inspecting stationery engines (to sign off on all completed installations). The Owner requires that all Bidders hold the following in-house Credentials in order to qualify for submitting a Bid: (a) TSSA registered heating fuels contractor; (b) TSSA registered petroleum contractor; (c) Certificate of Authorization from Professional Engineers of Ontario (d) Personnel trained as a Petroleum Mechanic-2 with min. 5 years of experience; (e) Personnel trained as a Petroleum Mechanic-3 with min. 5 years of experience; (f) Personnel Licensed as an Electrician in the Province of Ontario; (g) Personnel Certified as a "qualified person" by MOECP (to sign off on tank decommissioning reports) as defined in EPA Reg. 153/04. |
