**CANCELLED - REISSUED AS 2021-029P** The Simcoe County District School Board, hereby referred to as the “Board”, is requesting submissions from Respondent(s) secure web development and hosting services for the Career Centre, as operated by the Adult and Continuing Education Department of the Board. Existing logo and branding will be used in the development. The resulting contract would provide a client managed website platform, onsite discovery and training, site hosting as well as ongoing bug fixes, feature enhancement and documentation. The timing of the project is key as is the ongoing cost to support the website on an annual basis, ideally the new website should be live and functional by the end of March 2021. The resulting website is to be housed on a cloud based content management platform that allows for easy ongoing updates and that can be readily upgrade with new content options, and is to include the following functionality:
These features may be custom built, or integrated third party tools. If subscriptions are required for third party tools, the fees must be included in the annual hosting fees, or clearly outlined in the bid submission. The Barrie Career Centre is an Employment Ontario service provider and the website should have the functionality that other Employment Ontario providers have. The Career Centre is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD) through annual agreements. Funding is available within the 2020-2021 fiscal year that ends of March 31, 2021 for this project. On an ongoing basis, the web hosting agreements will be one year in length that matches the school board contract with MLTSD. |
